ALEXANDER GRANT
Alle meine Lebensbereiche korrelieren mit der Musik.
Mein größter Segen und Fluch zugleich war schon immer die Tatsache, dass ich keine bestimmte musikalische Richtung favorisiere, und dass meine stimmlichen Fähigkeiten es mir erlauben viele verschiedene Genres zu bedienen. Meine Richtung ist schlicht und ergreifend als (für mich) „geile Musik“ zu bezeichnen: von Rock, Pop, Metal und Electro über Oper, klassische Musik, bis hin Jazz, Reggae und Country, auf deutsch, englisch, russisch, habe ich ein riesiges Repertoire an scheinbar zusammenhanglosen Tracks. Bei der Menge an fantastischen Songs und Musikrichtungen da draußen will ich mich ständig an dieser unendlichen Vielfalt erfreuen und möchte selbst einen kleinen Beitrag dazu leisten.
Ich interpretiere.
Ich liebe es Songs, die mich berühren, zu covern. Manchmal unfreiwillig, abhängig vom Gefühl, das ich mit dem Text und der Melodie verbinde, bekommen diese Songs ein neues Leben mit meinem ganz eigenen Sound.
Ich performe.
Mit meiner Stimme und meiner Präsenz. Ich liebe es vor Menschen aufzutreten und ich bin jedes Mal aufs neue überwältigt, wenn ich Menschen mit meiner Performance berühren oder anheizen kann.
Ich spiele.
Am besten Klavier, am liebsten Gitarre. Und in dem allerbesten Fall mit meiner eigenen Liveband. Für mich gibt es keine schönere Art des Auftretens.
Ich schreibe und komponiere.
Inspiration ist überall. Ich schreibe über alles, was mich beschäftigt, von einer neuen Liebe, bis hin zu aktuellen politischen Entwicklungen. Ich schreibe alleine und noch lieber mit anderen Musikern zusammen, die meine Musik maßgeblich prägen.
GRANT LIVEBAND
Vor einigen Jahren gründeten wir die offizielle Grant Liveband – dies ist eine der aufregendsten Entwicklungen meiner musikalischen Karriere. Zusammen mit diesen begnadeten Musikern, die außerdem zu meinen engsten Freunden und sogar Familienmitgliedern gehören, performe ich am aller liebsten – die freigesetzte Energie auf der Bühne ist jedes Mal überwältigend. Wir covern, interpretieren und spielen unsere eigene genreübergreifende Musik.
GRANT HOCHZEIT
Ich trete seit 16 Jahren auf Hochzeiten auf. Vor über 10 Jahren lernte ich meine Geschäftspartnerin, Seelenverwandte und sehr gute Freundin Elnora kennen, die mit mir gemeinsam Grant Hochzeit ins Leben gerufen hat. Seit Jahren lernten wir immer mehr gleichgesinnte Menschen kennen, die zu unseren Kollegen und Verbündeten wurden. Grant Hochzeit ist ein Berliner Künstlerkollektiv, dass sich auf rundum individuelle und kreative Hochzeitskonzepte spezialisiert hat und damit den klassischen Hochzeitsmarkt in Deutschland langfristig verändern möchte.
VIER GENERATIONEN HOCHZEITSMUSIK
Dass meine musikalische Karriere auf Hochzeiten ihren Anfang genommen hat, ist kein Zufall. Ich darf eine stolze Familientradition fortführen: angefangen mit meinem Großvater, über meinen Vater, bis hin zu mir und nun auch meinen Neffen, machen wir zusammen seit 70 Jahren Livemusik auf denkwürdigsten Ereignissen im Leben vieler Menschen.
